Firstborn 88/365

Ahh Zack.

Zack, Zack, Zack.

What would I do without my not-so-little sidekick, eh?

You’ve grown up so much since starting school.

You’ve turned into a proper boy instead of being a wee lad.

Last week your first tooth fell out, and it made me gush with excitement and that “how on earth can your teeth be falling out already when you’re still my baby??” kind of feeling.

You do need to work on your listening though.

That’s the only thing really, mind.

Your reading is just… WOW!

Your maths is always quick smart

The perseverance you have with your games is something I’m in awe of!

Best of all though, I love your caring, sensitive nature.

You hate it when your little brother is upset or sad, and do whatever you can to cheer him up.

Even if I am telling you to please go into another room as he needs to be left alone!

You’re such a loving child.

I really hope that doesn’t stop as you grow up.

“Give me a child until he is seven, and I will show you the man.”

If that really is the case, Zack?

You are going to be an amazing man!

That’s very sweet. I have an almost 12 yo as well as 4 yo – so been there and it gets stranger every milepost. Like watching them walk out of the door for the bus to high school (sniff).

I love this 🙂 you could almost be talking about my eldest, especially when it comes to not listening! x

    He is just so gorgeous!

He is so grown up – I’ve watched him growing alongside the girl and they suddenly seem to be almost little adults.

    Lovely post.
