The Gallery: Yellow

Sticky Fingers Photo Gallery

Best roasties ever! #actifry #sundaydinner #casserole #food #tasty #roastpotato

Nothing better than Aunt Bessie’s roast potatoes in duck fat.

Turns out I don’t take many photos with yellow in them… whoops! In fact, this is the only one I could find that was remotely yellowish over the last few months!

Oh, and there was this one to show off the dusting of snow we had back at the start of December…

That'll be the snow starting then...

That’s pretty much the most snow we’ve had this year, and I can’t say I’m anything other than relieved about that!

I love snow angels, snowball fights and snowmen, but up here, snow turns to compacted ice, and ice leads to scary walks to school and the shops with the boys. Something I’d rather do without!

Before that? Well, it would be this one from last summer:

Chillin in the sun.

Oh how I’m looking forward to the summer months again this year!

This photo is probably my favourite of the lot, and it pretty much sums up the summer of 2013 for us. Lazy, hot and relaxing in the garden.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we have as hot and relaxing a summer as last year!

Time to head on over to see the rest of this week’s entrants to The Gallery, hosted by the lovely Tara.

It feels like summer is really here in Cornwall this week, the sun has a warmth to it.

Oh me too! Fingers crossed it’s as hot and sunny as last year. Who needs holidays abroad with that heat eh? 🙂

Serves me right for browsing blogs when I should be cooking tea but now I’m craving roast potatoes more than Summer! Delicious 🙂

Yellow – such a cheery colour! I am currently filling my house with daffodils and looking forward to Spring! And yay to roasties in duck fat – an infrequent treat with a vegetarian in the house 🙂

I love this time of year, first the snowdrops and crocuses (croci?), then the daffodils. Makes me feel so happy, you know? 🙂
