I Like Things Being Predictable

Does that make me dull?

I don’t think so!

I love that things are plain sailing at the moment.

We’re coasting along happily, Max is coming on really well, Zack is adoring school and is, in general, a very sweet little guy.

Bills are paid on time, and I can finally afford to save a little as well.

I’ve got some gorgeous friends, both in “real” life and online.

I like our routine, however hashed together it might be.

I love that I know I’ll be woken up by the boys jumping about on the bed over me, both wanting cuddles at the same time, and that by 7.30pm each night, they’ll be tucked up in bed. Or at the very least, in their room for the rest of the night!

I know now that I can see the signs when Max is going to go into meltdown mode and, although it’s tough, I know how to deal with it.

I know when Zack is needing time just the two of us, and he’ll want to play Tickles On The Sofa.

I like that my friends come over to our house with their little ones, and we all get to have fun and relax.

So here’s to 2011 being a calm and hopefully not full of major changes.

Here’s to a year of things being predictable!

I LOVE predictability. I’m the girl who hates the word “surprise”.
Predictability means security and harmony. That ain’t boring.
    That’s gorgeous.
