Living Arrows #2

Feeding the horses

Max has never really been that interested in animals until this weekend.

He saw us feeding the horses in the field just along from our house and for some reason decided it was time to start joining in with his family.

Feeding horses

To say I’m happy about this is an understatement!

My beautiful locked in boy is starting to emerge from the quiet and detached way of life he’s been living in, and it’s a wonderful transformation to behold.

This post made me cry! What a wonderful moment and fantastic photos to remember it. I have heard about horses being used in treatments for SEN children, I think there are some classes near us but Ethan is too young. We have taken him for a few pony rides, really need to do it again. I really hope this moments continue.
Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)

It’s making me wonder about looking into the RDA club here, but we really need to wait till I have a car to be able to take him. Might be worth looking into. 🙂 x

Thanks Steph! It means a *lot* to us here! With Max having autism, there was a time when he would freak out when anything/anyone came near him. He has come SO far. 🙂 <3
