A prayer bowl? Does it make a nice noise? There were some at an arts festival I was at recently, the bowls were a bit more simple in design, but did sound nice! 🙂

It does! I had to look up youtube to learn how to work it, but now I know, there’s no stopping me! It’s amazing how loud it can get too. Both the kids love having a shot now and then which is really sweet. 🙂

I love the sound of these bowls. We have one but ours isn’t decorated as nice as this one. Happy Sunday!

They’re such a dreamy sound aren’t they? I want to know what it says around the bowl… knowing my luck it’ll be something completely random, or rude! LOL

See I was about to ask what this is and then I read Emmas comment! Lovely and light photo – thank you for joining in xxxx

I tend to use mine if I’m getting a bit antsy/frustrated about something. The action of making the bowl sing, coupled with the sounds, calms me right down. 🙂 x

I have never seen one of those before, I thought it was a tea bowl before I read the comments. I love anything oriental.

Ahh I’m not a tea drinker so it would be a moot point in this household! 😉

My husband says this is a ‘singing bowl’. Is he correct, or has he got it horribly wrong?

He is, in fact, completely right! 🙂

I didn’t know what it was either until I read the comments, it is very beautiful. I’m going to google it now to see what they sound like!

This one is beautifully haunting. Any time I’ve been getting fractious or a bit overwhelmed I sit down and get it to sing… calms me right down. 🙂

Oooh… I very much like! Gorgeous bowl, and I bet it makes amazing sounds too. xx
