Brotherly love
I feel so lucky knowing that Max has such a great big brother like Zack.

At bedtime tonight, he asked if he could give Max his inhalers, and curled up next to his little brother, counting to 30, then another puff.

He often gets Max his milk and cereal first thing in the morning without even waking me.

If he sees someone that’s sad, he wants to help.

Being kind is how he rolls, this fantastic nearly-nine-year-old of mine.

He’s funny, articulate, and oh so silly at times.

But most of all, above everything else, he is so, so kind.

To me, to his little brother, and to his friends.

He’s growing up to be an amazing person this young man of mine.

And I am so grateful to have him in my life, and in Max’s.

And I wonder just WHO he learnt all these amazing traits from ….. could it have been his amazing, wonderful, fantastic mother?

Well I suppose there is that! ;)As Zack likes to point out: “You’re the weird I get my weird from, Mum!”

Aww what a lad! I think being a big brother is great for them. My boy’s the same … Having the wee lass come along 2 years ago has really brought out the best in him. 🙂

It really does, doesn’t it? So glad they’ve got each other. 🙂
