Full Moon Reading September 2015

Full Moon Reading September 2015

I can’t believe it’s the full moon already, and this is a special one with an eclipse to boot!

It’s known as the Harvest Moon, being the full moon closest to the autumn equinox and the last full moon before the nights really start closing in.

There are a lot of things on the cards regarding the eclipse, and you can find out exactly what you need to know from my friend Jess Carlson’s post on the subject.

So… let’s get started!

Maeve: Cycles and rhythms.

With the post I wrote last week on rhythm, and the full moon upon us, I laughed out loud when Maeve literally jumped out as I started to shuffle the deck! She is here to remind us that if things are going kind of crazy right now, it will pass, as cycles and rhythms do, so don’t worry! Honour those cycles and you will be just fine.

Aine: Leap of Faith.

I love love love pulling this card in a reading! Aine is here to remind you that you are held and supported at all times, so you can indeed take that big scary step in the direction of your dreams. Stop procrastinating. I know it feels easier to keep on with the status quo, but Rome didn’t get built in a day and your dreams need you to take that leap for them to come true.

Cordelia: Go Outside.

It’s so easy to forget to get out into nature, and yet doing so is one of the best ways you can boost your energy levels, so get out of the house. Even if it’s just for a quick fifteen minute walk to the shops instead of taking the car (I know, it’s so easy!). Not only is it good for your body, it gives your mind a chance to unwind from the chaos of life. Whether that’s at home with the kids, the busy-ness of a full time job, or somewhere in between. Nature isn’t just a sanctuary for wildlife, make it yours too.

Long story short:

This is the perfect reminder to honour the cycles in your life. Remember that whatever is going on right now will not always be this way. You may not always have the chance you do right at this moment so take that leap and get started on your dreams! And when you start to feel overwhelmed (if you’re not, then dream bigger!)? Get your butt outside and let your mind wander while walking wherever your feet take you.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week is wonderful, but if it’s not, just remember: you’ve got this. ❤
