Sunday Snippets 24-31 Oct

You know when your kids/spouse/dog says or does something totally blogworthy and you think “I’ve *totally* gotta blog that” but then it only works out at about 3 lines of a blog post and that’s just not enough so you just leave it and forget it ever happened? Well, that’s why I thought I’d start Sunday Snippets. You can write down and/or photograph something cute, funny or generally blogworthy that happens as it happens throughout the week, and every Sunday make it into a post. I figured since we’re all friends here in this bloggy community that maybe you might like to find out what others are up to as well!

1. Write your Sunday Snippets post.
2. Get the button in the right sidebar over there to thwack onto your post.
3. Add the link to your blog post to the MckLinky at the bottom here.
4. Read what some of your fellow bloggers have been up to, comment on at least one.
5. Spread the love, let others know about Sunday Snippets!

I know I had snippets from this week, but I didn’t write them down. Bad Blogger!

Max has been going on another ‘lets learn new things to bug mummy’ spree at the moment.

For example:

Max: I like putting the light on, but I can’t reach it. I know, I’ll use this empty toy box to climb up on to reach the light. At 4am in the morning!

Me: takes the box out of the room.

Max: finds another box, empties all the toys onto the floor, and does the same again.

Me: takes the box out of the room.

Max: empties the rest of the boxes onto the floor of his room, and tries to hide one behind his cotbed. Then does the same again.

Me: Goes into his room, finds all the boxes (including the one behind his cotbed) and stacks them all in her room.

Max: starts crying and screaming until there’s no way any of us (Zack included by this point) can sleep any longer.

Me: lets him out of his room, snuggles him and his big brother into my bed, puts on cartoons, and attempts to doze through it till at least 7am.

Fails.

At least his problem solving skills are getting a good workout, which is a great step in the right direction really!
